Victoria is a rising 8th grader at Harpeth Hall School in Nashville, TN. She loves every aspect of school and never wants to miss a day. Like most teenage girls, Victoria loves ridiculously expensive skin care, make-up, sweatpants and hoodies (oversized, of course), all things lululemon, and her strawberry açaí refresher from Starbucks. She is currently on a mission to collect every color of Touchland hand sanitizer so she can line them all up across the ledge of her sink. She is a self-admitted shopaholic and will never miss a chance to go to the mall.

Victoria’s favorite shows are Stranger Things, Wednesday, Gilmore Girls, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Outer Banks, and Modern Family. She has recently started checking off movies from an “early 2000’s” summer bucket list. So far, her favorites are The Devil Wears Prada and 27 Dresses.

Victoria is a die-hard country music fan and a Swifty (of course), but her taste in music is “on-another-level” of cool. She listens to an incredibly wide range of genres and artists like Morgan Wallen, Nirvana, 311, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Metallica, Weezer, Zach Bryan, Niall Horan, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Foo Fighters, Usher, Miley Cyrus, Noah Kahan, OutKast, Harry Styles, Lizzo, Dierks Bentley, Green Day, Stevie Nicks, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, Keith Urban, Pearl Jam, Post Malone, KC and the Sunshine Band, etc. It’s impossible to guess what’s next on her playlist. My favorite thing to do is to stand outside her bedroom door and listen to her harmonize with whatever song is playing. Her voice is a gift and I love hearing her sing.

Victoria loves horses with a passion. She loves to groom them, feed them, ride them, and just be near them. She’ll even muck out stalls for the right price. She loves to skeet shoot (and is damn good at it). She likes to lay out by the pool, swim, and make ridiculous videos with her friends or her younger sister, Wren. She has impeccable taste in fashion. She likes to draw, paint, make bracelets, and she loves one on one conversation (with anyone other than her parents🤣). She adores our older-than-dirt dog, Foxy, more than words can describe.

Victoria likes a schedule and order to everything. When she’s passionate about something, she will invest so much time and energy into that one thing until it’s absolutely perfect. She’s tenacious, curious, defiant, and direct. You always know where you stand with Victoria. These traits that we’ve so often tried to tame in her since she was a toddler are EXACTLY what she needs to beat her cancer.

Cancer has met its match in Victoria. It can try and try to come back and have the final say, but Victoria ALWAYS has the last word. When it comes to a battle of wills, no person or thing can outlast Victoria. We have been awed by Victoria’s relentless perseverance since she was a baby, and we now know why God gave her the strength and determination of David. This tumor is her Goliath (and we all know how that ended for Goliath).
